Justin Scott Giboney is an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Brigham Young University. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona, and an M.S. and B.S. in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. His research focuses on behavioral information security, deception detection, and knowledge-based systems. He has published 25 articles related to information security, deception detection, and decision support. His work has led to a better understanding of how security experts store knowledge, make decisions, and interact with technology. He teaches classes on digital forensics, information security, and information technology.
